Finally a crack in the Savages armor.  Top Whale picks up the first regulation victory surrendered by the Savages all season...and immediately claim top spot in the Power Rankings.  This may be the only chance to mix things up...

Walruses 3-0.  Redline 0-3.  Everyone else somewhere in between.  With one team missing the playoffs, it could create an interesting final few weeks.  The Raging Bulls, who currently sit in last place, picked up at least one point in each of its three games this week (1-0-2) which helped them gain at least two points on everyone except the Walruses and Xtreme.

LEADING SCORER - Brent McGugan - Cobras - 17gp 11-21-32

TOP GOALTENDER - Chris Curr - Walruses - 14 gp, 12W, 2.57 gaa, 0.900 save%

Put your left...put your left foot out...the Blobfish are doing the hokey pokey, bouncing from division 4, to division 6...and back.  And while they're playing great hockey at the moment, they've got a lot ground to make up if they wish to avoid their third division change of the year.  Anything 5th and 8th place will put them officially into division 5.  Outside of the Killer Bees (3-0-1) the teams in the top 5 each managed just a single win in their three outings.  Meanwhile, three of the teams ranked in the bottom 5 earned a pair of wins each.  Needless to say, there was shifting in the Power Rankings as a result.

LEADING SCORER - Trevor Kordyban - Blobfish - 15gp 27-32-59

TOP GOALTENDER - Kyle Nalbach - Killer Bees - 15 gp 12W, 2.45 gaa, 0.880 save%

With the Blobfish moving out (replaced by The Farm Team) the Soldiers slide back into the top-seed. Hot on their trail are the Human Centipedes and Nightmares.  The Farm Team struggled early, dropping their first two games upon their return to division 6.  But they would finish the week with a big 7-1 win over the 7C's to stop the freefall at 4th place.

LEADING SCORER - Kody Chalifoux - 7C's - 18gp 34-28-62

TOP GOALTENDER - Dylan Lynch - The Farm Team - 16gp, 7W, 2.82 gaa, 0.880 save%

We haven't seen lack of movement like this since Division 1.  Only the Spartans, jumping up from 7 to 6, and the Liberty Tax Lions, swapping spots with the Spartans, made any movement at all this week.  The rest stood pat.  The Snipers and Silver Kings continue to head the division, with the Snipers maintaining top spot thanks to a huge overtime win against the Silver Kings on Friday night.  Down 5-3 with under 3 minutes to play, the Snipers rallied back...scoring twice to tie the game and then finishing the comeback just 20 seconds in to ot.

LEADING SCORER - Dave Musey - Snipers - 17 gp 15-25-40

TOP GOALTENDER - Sean McFaul - Silver Kings - 15 gp, 12W, 2.38 gaa, 0.900 save%

It was a pretty even split this week.  The top 2 teams (YDP, GWOPS) both went a perfect 3-0.  The bottom three teams (Predators, GD Bulldogs, Southside BHC) all went an imperfect 0-3.  While the middle three teams (Rink Rats, Black Ice, Cobra Kai) all grabbed a pair of wins.  The Rink Rats loss came in overtime.  As a result, the only movement saw the Rink Rats take that additional point and jump a spot.  One of the Black Ice's wins came against the Cobra Kai, so they also moved ahead of Cobra Kai in the rankings.

LEADING SCORER - Alex Rotondo - GWOPS - 15 gp 21-32-53

TOP GOALTENDER - Shawn Pope - Rink Rats - 16 gp, 10W, 3.02 gaa, 0.850 save%

About the only certainty in this division has, unfortunately, been the Shockers.  With just 1 win through 12 games, they are on the verge of locking up permanent residency in the basement.  The two biggest stories in the division this week were the previously top-ranked Huskies going 0-3, and the previously 7th-ranked Kings going 3-0 and knocking off some big dogs in the process.  The Rampage move back into the top-spot, while the Kings slide into 2nd.  The Tigers and Wolfpac also moved up.  After giving up 10 goals last week versus the Rampage, Mackenzie Erickson bounced back with back-to-back shutouts this week.

LEADING SCORER - Cody Wasik - Rampage - 9 gp 17-12-29

TOP GOALTENDER - Adam Kube - Rampage - 16 gp, 11W, 3.15 gaa, 0.860 save%

The musical chairs continue...as everyone was on the move this week.  The Canadians, only team to go a perfect 2-0 this week, jumped from #3 to #1.  Right behind them are the Gremlins who climbed all the way up from #5.  Also moving up a spot were the Regulators (3 from 4), Tin Bashers (5 from 6) and Mad Dogs (7 from 8).

LEADING SCORER - Ryan Rusk - Canadians - 16 gp 25-22-47
