While the Savages needed overtime to knock off the Xtreme in their final game of the week, their unbeaten streak in regulation continues.  Top Whale BHC jumped over the Nighthawks in this weeks power-rankings, thanks to a 5-1 drubbing of the 'Hawks on Thursday night.  The Xtreme continue to search for their first win of the season, amidst rumors of a division swap with the division-two-leading Walruses.  But if their play this week is any indication, a tight 5-4 loss to Top Whale and the previously mentioned ot loss at the hands of the top-ranked team in Edmonton, the Xtreme are not willing to go without a fight.

LEADING SCORER - Lee Jubinville - Savages - 6 gp 4-8-12

TOP GOALTENDER - Ty Swabb - Nighthawks - 4 gp, 2W, 2.28 gaa, 0.910 save%

This week pretty much went "status quo" for division 2.  The top three teams didn't lose in regulation (Walruses 2-0, Team Pending 2-0, Cobras 1-0-1), the Raging Bulls jumped Bar South due to a 6-4 head-to-head win...the only win registered by the bottom three teams (Raging Bulls 1-1, Bar South 0-2, Redline 0-2).  Redline has now extended their division-leading pointless streak to 4 games, with a big game looming against the Raging Bulls on Monday.

LEADING SCORER - Mike Badun - Cobras - 6 gp 7-9-16

A lot of movement this week, with the main culprit being the Rangers who knocked off the previously top-ranked Killer Bees as part of a perfect 2-0 week (they also beat the Sharks 7-5).  Smashville also had a perfect week, although one of those games came via forfeit...chances are pretty good they would've won anyways as their opponent, the Blobfish, were one of two teams to moved down and out of the division.  The Liberty Tax Lions were the other.  Taking their place will be the Farm Team, who were ranked #1 last week in division 6, and the undefeated Burger Kings from division 8.

LEADING SCORER - Paul Gach - Rangers - 6 gp 4-8-12

The division becomes a little more wide-open with the departure of the Farm Team to division 4.  Taking their place will be the division 4's bottom-ranked team, the Blobfish.  This week saw both the Nightmares and McMuffins roll out perfect 2-0 records.  The Nightmares knocked off the Soldiers 7-6 in extra time, while the McMuffins took care of the Crown Royals by the same 7-6 score.  Ryan Jevne of the Crown Royals continues to score at a torrid pace...he's now up to 12 goals and 25 points through just 7 games.

LEADING SCORER - Ryan Jevne - Crown Royals - 7 gp 12-13-25

The Silver Kings seemed to show flex their experienced muscles...picking up two more wins this week to maintain top-ranking.  The Snipers and Team Ferda swapped spots, with the Snipers jumping to #2 spot...thanks to a 3-0 mark this week...for the even more experienced squad.  Team Ferda fell to #6 after managing just 1 point in the standings despite a 3-game week.  Ukraine Athletic went 2-for-2, while the Larry's picked up wins in two out of three.  The retier claimed just one team from division 7.  Black Ice will now be playing in division 8.  The Liberty Tax Lions have dropped down from division 4 to take their place.

LEADING SCORER - Cody Lawson - Silver Kings - 6 gp 10-10-20

An odd occurance in a 8-team division to see only one team move up in the rankings.  By beating the only two teams left in the division that were ahead of them, the GWOPS climbed to the top of the heap.  Right behind them are the undefeated Predators who are moving up from division 10.  YDP struggled this week, dropping 2 of 3, including a 7-2 thrashing at the hands of the GWOPS.  The Rink Rats stayed put in 4th...going 2-1 this past week.  Cobra Kai (up from 10) and Black Ice (down from 7) were inserted into #5 and #7 respectively.  Southside BHC dropped a spot, and the GD Bulldogs two to round out the division.

Big jump for the No Dekes this week.  They went 2-0, beating both the Gremlins and the Canadians in the process.  But the biggest factor in their rise to the top of the rankings was the departure of both the Shockers and the Squids.  Also leaving, but going the other way and down to division 12 was Snakearm.  Moving into division 11 were the Thunder Buddies (up from 12), and the Tin Bashers and Piranhas both down from division 10.  The Regulators also went 2-0 this week, and climbed from #5 to #3 just behind the Gremlins.

LEADING SCORER - Jarrett Skousbol - Gremlins - 6 gp, 10-4-14
